I am and interior design student looking to get into theme park design. I am wondering what to expect with my first internship? Disneyland is closest to me, and I noticed that you worked there “once upon a time” can you give me a bit of insight on what your internship was like?
Disneyland was great. My advice is to go learn all you can. I spent a lot of my time poking around places and seeing how things worked. Part of my internship was to go around and catalog every building on Disney property. They had added so many temporary trailers, even they didn’t know what they had. So in any case, it afforded me the opportunity to explore the entire workings of a theme park back and front. I urge you to do the same!
